How to Apply to the ENMU BSN Completion Program

You must apply to both ENMU and the Nursing Program. There is no charge for applying to the University or the Nursing Program. We accept students into the BSN Completion Program in the fall, spring, and summer semesters, five times a year; there is no set application due date to apply.

  1. Submit an ENMU Application. Fill out our online application, or download an application and mail it to us. The application asks for all the names of  post-secondary institutions you have attended.
  2. Provide transcripts. Submit your official college transcripts. See more about sending a transcript to ENMU.
  3. Apply for the BSN Completion Program. When you fill out our Online BSN Application, you will need the following:
    • A current resume, with contact information for three professional references (two being RNs)
    • A scan of your current RN licensure.

ENMU BSN Pathway is 100% Online

Eastern New Mexico University RN to BSN Program is entirely online, fitting seamlessly into your busy life, with more than 90% of our BSN students working as full-time RNs. All courses are offered in 8-week sessions, with fall, spring and summer admission available. RN students typically take 2-to-4 courses per semester; full-time RN students can complete the program in 16 months.

ENMU BSN Pathway is ACEN Accredited

Our BSN Completion program has received continued accreditation through the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) through spring 2029.

Start the ENMU BSN Completion Program immediately after finishing your Associate Degree program

Enroll in the BSN Program before you take or receive the results of the NCLEX-RN licensing examination, to ensure you do not miss a term for the Lottery Scholarship or other financial aid eligibility when going from an associate-level program to a BSN program.

ENMU BSN Pathway is Affordable

When you're thinking about where to complete your BSN, cost is likely a major consideration. In addition to being one of the least expensive BSN Completion programs in the Southwest, the ENMU BSN Completion Program offers nursing program scholarships of over $100,000.00 per year! Students are also eligible for ENMU Foundation Scholarships and Financial aid.

Affordable Tuition Rates

Our tuition is currently just $280.75 per hour (tuition and fees +$17 per credit hour for online courses) for New Mexico residents, or for any out of state student who takes 6 or fewer credit hours in the fall or spring semester (or 10 or less credit hours in the summer). Full-time out-of-state residents never pay more than 150% of the in-state tuition rate. ENMU consistently has one of the most affordable tuition rates in the Southwest region among four-year universities.
