INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES (ITS) FOR STUDENTS

 

 

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR PERSONAL COMPUTERS

  • Your computer must be compliant with each step listed in the tutorial below:
  • You must have a network card (NIC) or wireless network card installed on your computer.
     
  • ITS recommends that you have Windows 10 installed on your computer so that support can be provided for you if a problem should arise. Your computer should meet the minimum system requirements to install Windows 10. Go to the following link for these requirements www.microsoft.com.

 

ENMU PORTAL

            The ENMU Portal is the heart of ENMU's online offerings, and contains a quick link system that will let you access your email, Banner, Canvas, and more. Additionally, you can access forms, the Student Handbook and policy manuals, announcements, notifications of important events, and more. It can be accessed at my.enmu.edu.
 

Canvas

            Instructors for both online and on campus courses use Canvas to:

  • Communicate with students
  • Post course syllabi
  • Post assignments
  • Keep in touch with students
  • Set up discussion areas and assignment drop boxes
  • Send Canvas messages

CAMPUS WIRELESS NETWORKS

            Wireless connectivity is available inside of all campus buildings, outside in the quad and student housing. Please contact the Helpdesk if you have any questions on connecting to the wireless network.

Network Access

            ENMU provides students with a network account which allows students to use:

  • MyENMU Portal
  • Lab computers
  • Email
  • Register for classes
  • Check schedule
  • View grades
  • View account balances
  • Create a personal web Portfolio (Tutorial: Your own personal E-Portfolio)

 

ACCOUNT PICKUP

Go to: www.enmu.edu/its-account-pickup. If you are in one of our computer labs on campus, double click the "activate account" icon. Activation is only necessary one time for the entire time you are enrolled at ENMU and you can access the information again, and print the information for your records. If you are not given your account information, please call the Helpdesk at 575.562.4357.
 

STUDENT EMAIL PASSWORD, FORGOTTEN OR NOT WORKING

Contact the Helpdesk at 575.562.4357 or visit the UCC computer lab desk to have your email password reset. You will be required to provide your ID card or ID number. Once the account information has been verified, the email password will be changed to a temporary password. At first login, you will be required to change your email password.
