Faculty Research & Instructional Development Committee

Reports to:   Vice President of Academic Affairs through Faculty Senate

Responsibilities:   Evaluates and recommends on instructional and research faculty development grant proposals to the Vice President of Academic Affairs. Recommends on research and faculty development policy and on the format, policies, and procedures applicable to research and development grants.

Length of Term and Membership Guidelines:    The faculty membership of this committee shall be comprised of seven (7) faculty members (2 from CET, 1 from CFA, 3 from CLAS, 1 and from COB) appointed by the Elections Committee. Terms on this committee are two (2) years. Faculty members may serve on this committee multiple times, but may serve only two (2) consecutive terms. Chair elected by committee

Membership:  Appointments are two (2) year term with a two (2) term consecutive term limit.
