Assessment
The College of Business is able to review and assess its program success and its ability to address changing needs, by establishing and reviewing the following performance measures reported through either the Annual Effectiveness Reports or the five-year Program Review Report. Those measures are: BBA Student Learning Outcomes Results; MBA Student Learning Outcomes Results; BBA Exiting Student Survey Results; BBA Alumni Survey Results; MBA Alumni Survey Results; Amount and Participation in Academic Co-Curricular Activities; Amount and Participation in Student Organizations; Amount and Participation in Non-Academic Professional Development Activities for Students; Number of Applications to the Graduate Program; Number of Majors in All Programs; Number of Graduated (i.e. degree completion) Students in All Programs; Number of Student Credit Hours in All Programs; Amount of Full-Time Faculty Professional Development Activities; and, Amount of Full-Time Faculty Scholarly Activities.
The purpose of collecting and analyzing all of this performance data is to demonstrate our effectiveness through the following measures: (1) Increase growth of number of students enrolled; (2) Increase growth of number of degree-completed students; (3) Increase growth of number of student credit hours; (4) Improvement in student learning outcome results; (5) Consistency in stakeholder comparison data.
In addition, the purpose of collecting and analyzing all of this performance data is to demonstrate our efficiency through the following measures: (1) Stability in amount of full-time faculty overloads; (2) Stability in amount of employed part-time faculty; (3) Improvement in the number of full-time equivalent faculty covering the number of enrolled students, degree completed, and student credit hours.
