How do i use the StandOut platform?

  1. Visit StandOut and sign-in with your ENMU credentials.
  2. Once you are in the StandOut Portal, select Practice.
  3. Select an interview from the available categories. These are the pre-created interviews. Select More Details to access a specific interview. Then on the next screen click on the Begin Practice button.
  4. You can also create your own practice interview by selecting Practice and Create Your Own Practice in the top right of your menu.
  5. On the next page, click on Create in the box to your left of the screen.
  6. From here, you can select, level of difficulty of questions; Easy, Moderate or Challenging.
  7. Also select, Interview Criteria, and number of questions. Then click on Begin Practice.
  8. Once in your interview, select the play button in the middle of the interviewer window. Your response will be recording once the interviewer completes their question.
  9. Select Next.
  10. After the interview is completed, you can review your responses and you may share your responses with a career services counselor or a professor for feedback.
    • ​​We encourage students to self-assess their practice interview after each completion.
    • If you have are looking for feedback, you will select the Share button in the StandOut page. Please enter the e-mail of the professional that you would like to share your interview with. At ENMU Counseling and Career Services, we can offer you feedback within 1-3 business days.
