Agency for Conservation Archaeology

 

The Agency for Conservation Archaeology (ACA) is a nonprofit organization within the Eastern New Mexico University Department of Anthropology and Applied Archaeology. Established in 1974, ACA provides cultural resource management (CRM) services in New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma. These contract services include pedestrian surveys to identify historic properties, prehistoric regional overviews, archaeological site testing and excavation, specialized identification and analysis (faunal analysis, lithic artifact analysis, ceramic artifact analysis), as well as geoarchaeological and forensic consulting.
